style="margin-bottom: 0px;">No april joke -- only a few months after our first Lake Constane encounter we met this bird in its spring finery on german ground. Alas it stood in the far back of the Eisele ditch, an artificial drain of the last western Schussen deadwater, and it was backlit. /Kein Aprilscherz -- nur mnate nach unserer ersten Bodenseesichtung ueberhaupt trafen wir diesen Vogel im Prachtkleid auf der deutschen Seite an. I wonder if it's the bird we saw in february over on the austrian side by the rhine. / Auch wenn die sehr heragezoomten un eng ausgeschnittenen Bilder nich sehr gut sind, war das eine sehr aufregende Sichtung.
