The guy had to fix the roll with the mesh for fixing the straw. This took him a while. / Der Mann musste die Rolle mit dem Gitterstoff der die Ballen zusammenhaelt wieder einrichten. Das dauerte einige Minuten.

This comparably dry one somewhat upriver is in spring getting none or the Eriskirch wetlands signature rarities. But it does not mean thatt its not getting colourful and pretty. / Diese relativ trocken etwas den Fluss hinauf hat keine der Seltenheiten fuer die das Eriskircher Ried bekannt ist, aber das heisst nicht, das sie nie bunt und huebsch ist.

Well, theiy got planted in rows, but that the first one grew to the shape of a stick person is unique to this row I guess. / Klar, die wurden so als Reihe eingepflanzt. aber das in dieser Reihe der voderste Baum in die Form eines Strichmaennchens gewachsen ist, das war wohl Zufall.
