If something seems very wrong here, with the form of the half pillar base at the step, of the way the shadow falls, yes it is. This is not stukko, all of the showy portal but the innermost doorframe is an illusionist paint job. / Wenn da was nicht richtig erscheint, etwa mit der Sockelform der Pillaster wo sie die Treppe treffen oder der Schattenwurf, das stimmt schon so. Hier ist kein Stukko, abgesehen vom inneren Tuerramen ist alles an dem aufgedonnerten Portal illusionistische Malerei.

Former Forestry Authority Building / Ehemaliges Forstamtsgebaeude

Matching the castle on colour and standing in its park most Tourists assume it belong to the original assemble. Actually it's from 1902. Today it houses the car registry and the historic society / So wie es farblich auf das Schloss abgestimmt im Schlosspark steht, denken viele Touristen das es von anfang an ein fuer die Grafen gebautes Nebengebaude war. In Wirklichkeit stammt es erst von 1902. Heute beherbergt es die KFZ- Zulassungstelle und die Raeumlichkeiten vom Foerderkreis Heimatkunde.
