Lake Constance Shore / Bodenseeufer

Friedrichshafen, east of the public promenade. This are the backyard pergolas and lake access facilities of the fine private houses built with big gardens around the turn of the 19th to 20th century. Seen from the fronyside at Eckenerstasse there is little original left, but the waters edge view is almost like in the old times. / Friedrichshafen, oestlich der Promenade, Das sind die Gartenhaeusschen und privaten Seezugenge der Villen die um die Jahrhundertwende gebaut wurden. Von vorne an der Eckenerstasse ist heute eher wenig daovn zu sehen, aber ser blick schraeg auf die Huetten ist nicht sehr viel anders als ie damals gewesen sein muss

The old private backyards secured against the water with high walls. Someone flies a national flag, most likely just for futile soccer reasons / Die alten Privatgaerten mit ihren hohen Mauern gegen den See. Irgendwer hat eine Nationalflagge rausgehaengt. Vermutlich nur wegen dem Fussball, bei dem es dieses Jahr ja leider nicht so viel geworden ist.

View north from the bridge at Oestliche Uferstrasse. Looks like there resides among others a very noble Mallard. :o) / Blick nach norden von der Bruecke an der oestlichen Uferstrasse. Sieht so aus als ob da nter anderem eine sehr vornehme Stockente residiert. :o)

The next public lake access behind Eckener street os the Campground Beach, a gravely place having both river and lake shores. / Der naechste oeffentliche Seezugang hinter der Eckenerstrasse ist der Kiesstrand vom Campingplatz direkt am Fluss und Seeufer.

East of Friedrichshafen harbour. The background is very hazy, but this should be the Langenargen tip to the left. / Oestlich vom Friedrichshafener Hafen. Der Hintergrund ist sehr dunstig, aber hinten links sollte der Langenargener Spitz sein.

Seen at the pier from the side of the marina. They are framed by the overlook tower and the zeppelin museum. / Am Landungssteg, von den Liegeplaetzen fuer Privatboote gesehen. Eingeramt werden sie vom Aussichtsturm und vom Zeppelin Museum.
