Nothing really spectacular for site seeing, but I liked the old handrails, especially with the fall colours / Nicht wirklich eine staedtische Sehenswurdigkeit, aber lich mag das alte Gelaender, besonders mit den Herbstfarben.

Choir Stalls / Chorgestuehl

They have been carved by Martin Hoefele around 1700, but the gilded and coloured lacing on top is an arguable Feuchtmayer work. / Die hat der Martin Hoefele um 1700 geschnitzt, der durchbrochene und teilvergoldete farbige Aufsatz allerdings ist ein vermutlich echter Feuchtmayer.

Bust gracing the end of the western choir stall row. Martin Hoefele was a carving monk from Weingarten. Its supposed his shop built and carved the stalls. / Bueste auf der Pultwange am Abschluss des westlichen Gestuehls. Martin Hoefele war ein schnitzender Moench aus dem Kloster Weingarten. Angeblich ist das untere Teil der Gestuehls aus seiner Werkstatt.

I.K.H. Diane Herzogin von Württemberg, Prinzessin von Frankreich selber schweisst diese Riesenfiguren aus Lochblech zusammen....

A different angle on the angel through an other gate. Here it looks especially like a Dr. Who cyberman angel from the fpaceship Titanic. Just never give up eye contakt or if wanders up all the way to Wiggenhausen! / Ein anderer Winkel auf den Engel durch ein anderes Tor. So schaut er noch mehr wie so ein falscher Dr. Who Weihnachtsengel von der Titanic aus. Bloss nicht aus den Augen lassen, sonst ist er bald hier oben in Wiggenhausen!

No public building today, only one with a historic marker and a reminder that Hofen harbour once was the first and only lake access of Wuettemberg. Incidently, it is in the first street outside the zone where you need to buy a billet for parking, already close to downtown shopping and the prettiest sights in town -- so, in 14 years I never cought it without a row of cars parked in front.... / Heute ist es schon lange kein oeffentliches Gebaeude mehr, nur eines mit Geschichtstafel und einer Erinnerung daran das Hofen mal Wuettembergs einziger Seezugang war. Dazu steht es heute in der ersten Strasse ohne Parkgebuehren bei Stadtmitte und Uferparks, was zur Folge hat, das ich es in 14 Jahren niemals ohne Autos davor erwischt habe.

Facade detail. They had an interesting way to use bricks decorative / Teil der Fassade. Das war eine bemerkenswerte Technik, die Ziegel dekorativ einzusetzen.
