Very nice photo. It has just the right amount of detail and subtlety of color for my taste (I like a natural, rather than hyper-natural look in nature photography).

If it were cropped differently (say, by taking only the fan-like shapes in the upper left hand corner), the viewer wouldn't know that it was a flower, which could make it more mysterious and interesting.
