API access to Collections

It looks like Flickr doesn't support the notion of collection sets, or nested sets of sets, like 23 does.
Are there plans to extend the Flickr API to support managing Collections?
This is not a critical need. I just thought it might be nice to extend the album support I'm doing in Lightroom to support the notion of Collections.

Hey clvrmnky,
No current plans, I'm afraid. I agree it would be a nice addition, but so far the API is limited to methods already present and documented in the Flick API. It might be time to step out of the shadow and bring in our own custom additions -- and in that case collections along with stories would be good candidates.
