Shotwell and 23hq

Ubuntu dropped F-Spot as the default photomanger and switched to Shotwell. It's looking good and has a nice feature - export pictures to services like flickr, Picasa etc.
But... there is no 23 support. I guess it would not be that hard to add 23, because flickr is already built in.
And, I guess, it would be great for 23, if it is part of the Ubuntu default photo software ;-).
Maybe someone who is able to code has a look here?

Digikam/KipiPlugins already has an "Export to 23hq" if you're looking for Linux software.

I already made a feature request for 23 support. But I guess it has not that high priority for the shotwell maintainers. For 23 it would be great to be part of the Ubuntu's default photo suite, I think.
Digikam is no real alternative for me, because I use Gnome, not KDE, and don't like to have all the KDE libraries and stuff installed.

... "would be great to be part of the Ubuntu's default photo suite" ...
that is, until they drop Shotwell for another piece of software.
Yeah, digikam was just a suggestion, I personally wouldn't compare Shotwell and digikam - two different leagues.

Well, I'm new to both 23 and Shotwell, but this may help.
Shotwell version 0.9.1 (the latest stable version as for now) has a "Send to" feature, which allows sending photos by email (besides other ways such as instant messaging and bluetooth). It actually uses the default "GNOME Send To", as in Nautilus.
Perhaps not the best way to send photos to 23, but at least is an alternative while an (un)official plugin is unavailable.
