Any idea when you might support web authentication?

The way we've implemented support for the flickr api with no requirement for 23-specific api keys, it's not possible to support web-style authentication (since the redirect after login is based on the api key).
So web authentication would require a substantial refactoring of the implementation. Which leads me to my usual curious questions: What are you developing? And would desktop-style authentication work as well? (quite a few web apps do that...)
