Few bugs

Hello,
I'm trying to update my Flickr library to support 23hq. However, I experience some issues:
1. flickr.photos.getInfo returns empty title. When trying to set the title through the setMeta method the operation completes but the title remains empty.
2. flickr.people.getInfo returns empty photosurl and profileurl.
3. Comment methods are not supported at all. Are you going to implement it sometime?
Thank you,
Maor

Hey Maor,
The first item is caused by 23's different handling of photo captions. Whereas flickr has title/description we only "words" which can basically be either or both. The words are contained in the description field.
As for 2. and 3. I'll have a look at those later today. I'm guessing we'll be able to fix 2. quickly but 3. could take a little time.
Out of curiosity, which library is this?

Thanks for the prompt reply.
My library currently shows title + description. What would be the correct way to handle these words? Show it as title, description, maybe both?
We're developing a 3D Image Management System (3DIMS) called Visions. You can take a look at it here: http://www.twins-solutions.com
The library we're using is our own development and currently supports Flickr sharing service. Since 23hq is compatible with Flickr, adding support for this service sounds like a great addition.

Wow, the screenshots look amazing -- although I didn't have a chance to test the beta on my Mac ;-)
We've made a few changes:
1. setMeta now stores both the value of title and description in the words associated with a photo.
2. Both photosurl and profileurl is now included.
3. We now support photos.comments.addComment, photos.comments.deleteComment and photos.comments.getList
Hopefully, this solves your problems -- and please let us know when support for 23 is done. We'd love to test this out for ourselves ;-)

Hey,
Thanks for the great work.
The photos.comments.addComment method works fine. However the response has small mistake. Acording to Flickr's reference the response should be "comment id=..." and your response is "comments id=..." (there's an extra "s" in the element comment).
The deleteComment and getList also work fine. I hope you'll be able to add the editComment method too.

I've fixed the type in the return now.
About editComment option, it might be a few weeks before we're able to support this since the method has implications for how we do spam screening. You're actually letting people edit their comments through your app?

Thanks for the fix.
I allow every method that is available through Flickr (or 23hq). Since Flickr allows editing of comments (your own comments only) i see no reason why to prohibit this.
One more thing. The "flickr.photos.comments.getList" method returns "date_create" where it actually should be "datecreate". In addition, it doesn't return the "authorname" like Flickr.
Thanks,
Maor

Hey Maor,
Thanks for pointing out the inconsistencies -- I've updated our returns to match the specs.
The reason for not including editComment at the moment isn't that we don't want people to edit comments; only that some internal stuff needs to be changes slightly in order to do it "right".

Thanks. It's fixed.
We're planning to release a new version of Visions in following week. This version will support 23hq's service and as long I see, the editComment is the only missing feature that prevenets a full support to 23hq. The good is that the method is already implemented in our library so it will be supported automatically when you add it.
I will post a message here once it will be out.
Thanks,
Maor
