What do you use for globalization/localization?

I'm doing some Rails development my self, and just out of curiousity; what are you guys using for globalization/locazation?

We're using the acs-lang package from the OpenACS toolkit, which is the basis for the entire site. Frankly, I know very little about the technical solutions employed by the package, but you could probably get some answers here:

Nope, we're not that in, sadly. However, we are utilizing both prototype and script.alicio.us for our ajax'ing needs.
