Please allow editing of forum posts. If veracity is a concern, editing can be limited as long as the user's post is the last in the thread (no replied have been posted yet).

Clicking the title of individual posts should give you a permalink. Am I wrong?

Ah, right. Neat.
Enhancement: anchor links to the post within the thread would offer context and positioning. Right now, clicking on a permalink displays just the isolated post.

Clicking on the post number does that. Nice!
Could it be possible to switch the hyperlinks, i.e. make clicking on the number show the isolated post, and clicking on its title show it in context? The idea is that the most commonly requested action should be the easiest to accomplish, and seeing the post in context would be more common than wanting to see it isolated.
