I would love to have a way to show my pictures on friendfeed, at least to show all these nerds who seem to go back to flickr more and more that there is a nice alternative.

Hey gekow, I guess you'd need to tell the folks at friendfeed to implement 23-support.

Hey guys,
I have just written the good people at FriendFeed since our nice Media RSS feeds should be a neat stepping stone for implementing support for FriendFeed with 23. We've also been in contact with Gnip about having FriendFeed support 23 through their service.

Njah, Media RSS is simply an extension of the RSS standard suggested by Yahoo. It's a pretty nice way to append information about multimedia data to existing feeds and we implemented it so supply PicLens/Cooliris support. Flickr, however, does not use Media RSS although we're working with a few partners at the moment ready to build services upon the standard.

Alrighty. I've had a nice chat with the people at FriendFeed -- and of course the already include limited support for Media RSS. I've re-jigged some stuff in the feed and now you can have your 23 kicks over at friendfeed.com!
Just add a Blog source with you personal 23 urls (ie. http://www.23hq.com/steffen) and you'll have all your photos shown neatly in the feed.
Thanks for pushing us to move on this ;-)

Basically, Friendfeed reads from the RSS feed containing the latest 16 (or so) entries. Currently, their support for Media RSS is limited so it does not yet use the available information to browse back through the archive of your photos.
