Sonja, thank you for your concern!
I was able to turn round, stuff my digital camera or camera-phone (I forget which - will look at the ex inf after typing this, should have checked before replying) up my shirt and wedge myself into a wide crack behind me that I had placed myself close to in case of such an eventuality! I was wet but safe and the camera was dry!

Just checked, Sonja - my old Nokia N95 camera-phone. Much missed. I dropped it in a bog a week after this was taken and that, as they say, was that! (A much better camera than a phone, by the way!).

Nice One Andy. Looks a bit dicey out there with the camera phone but the results have made it worth the effort and wetness. I am always concerned in such proximity to salt water for my camera and lens's. better getting feet wet than camera.

I understand! I try and be careful and position myself so that I can get a quick and firm gold of rock if necessary.

Andy, this looks like you were looking out of the upper window of Noah's Ark. That must have been in the days of Goat-skin cameras. Too scary for me ! But that does not make it a less than great pix.
