Sorry! In some ways I think German also when I write english. Not quite as bad as that birding buddy who became a new binocular for his birthday, but sometimes it happens to me too.... ;o)
When we speak of trains, everything but the lokomotive is a "Wagen". Logs shipped by train get piled onto a "Pritschenwagen", and the humans on the train dine in the "Speisewagen". And "Kutsche"(Coach direct translated) is a oldfashioned showy slow thing with seats for passengers in the back that is moved by a horse or several, or sometimes an euphemism for an automobile that is rather old, very big and not spirited) ;o)
