Okay, I just stumbled across this. Is it a hidden/undocumented feature?
I saw that someone had "Places" in set of links at the top of their photostream (or whatever it's called here) page.
I didn't, so I created the URL manually :
http://www.23hq.com/curiouskiwi/places
and it took me to a page that said, "You haven't enabled 23places yet. Do it now!. "
So I did and now, yay!! I have a map of all my geotagged photos that I (and everyone else) can see.
Thought I'd post here in case others weren't aware of this feature.

i was wondering where that feature was.
i'm a bit curious as to why it is hidden like that.

@striatic: The current places tabs shows the very minimum of what we should be doing with maps -- which is why it's hidden.

ah okay.
"not ready for prime time".
interesting though, i'm so used to flickr's geotag system and 23's geotagging system is so undeveloped compared to that ..
and yet it is so much more easy to use, simply by virtue of using google maps. it really makes an incredibly huge difference when compared to those awful yahoo maps with their low resolution aerial imagery and awful navigation controls.
plus sometimes simplicity is just better.

I look forward to the geo evolutions on 23, some of which were maybe hinted at here? ;-)
