I love this Andy. Here in the Ozark Mountains we see much of the same. As the mountains are among the oldest in the world -- countless ? millions of years old. But what makes them unique is that they run from east-west - opposed to other Mts., that are north-south. This is a great picture.

Not volcanic, these are sedimentary rocks, contorted under the most extreme pressure. Thank you, Sonja!
