From above after we crept back to the trail. There was still nobody else looking out there, due to the snow and ice on the rustic steps / Von oben nachdem wir auf den Weg zuruckgeklettert waren. Es war noch keine andere Gruppe aud dem Aussichtstspunkt, wohl wegen des vielen Schnees und Eis auf den Stufen.

They look not bad with snow, and of course, when it is cold Evil Yps must rest and will not harm them. I guess the trees like it.

It is a nice looking place, in spite that the sun would be always sort of frontal from a north shore and especially in winter when it just looks out over the high ridge in the south. We followed the closed trail counterclockwise around the Alpsee until I could get a shot east on the rock. From the footprints it was clear I was not the first person that went exactly this far before turning. Guess they all have now either a very similar pic as mine is or a wider cellphone selfie with the lookout in the back. ;o)
