Looking down from the covered trail bridge, affording views all the way to Tiss on the opposite side of the Adige. Hard to believe an innocent looking brook like this could tear down even castles towering high above, yet it gnawed on the hillside until the palace and half of the keep at Untermontani did slide off. / Blick vom gedeckten Bruecklein am Wanderweg, das einen Ausblick bis hinueber nach Tiss jenseits der Etsch bietet Kaum zu glauben so ein unschuldiges Rinnsal koennte ganze Burgen zu fall bringen, doch nagte es fleissig genug um Untermontani so zu unterspuelen, dass der Hang mit dem Wohngebaeude und dem halben Bergfried dazu abging. |
