Yes, people may use the cabin lift station at the Douglass Lodge as starting point for tours of very varried difficulty levels. 2/3rd of the lake round trip counterclockwise to the cheese farm restaurant seen here, are so easy and well developed you may take even physically very challenged people without a whole lot of extra considerations, the last third is a more demanding ramble with noticable elevation changes, including a few somewhat narrow corridors in steep walls with nice handrail, gravelly hills, and stairs, but there are some challenging hiker and climber routes onto peaks and over near undeveloped passes going off from this less than 10km circle tour as well.
