Today I ate a "burrito" and it had something called nopales. Do you mean I've been eating cactusssssss?

yeah Nopales are the quintessential mexican food! euz won't let me lie!

and yes in Mexico we use nopales for 'salads' and include them in dishes as vegetables... then the flower of the plant, called Tuna, we eat them as fruits, they are delicious!! and lately they are becoming very popular in Japan, since they have health benefits like lowering cholesterol, etc.
