Bizarre or Disturbing

Well, I fear our oh-so-green Ministerpresident is very liberal about the keeping of exots like this and doing not a thing about it. But I only noticed this after seeing this huge exotic cat in a kennel-like enclosure in some unasuming if not to call a bit untidy backyard at the first houses in the village below the trail and actively trying to find out what the law is about such in Baden-Wuerttemberg.

Anyway, the animal as much I could see from afar got a big cage with a treetrunk landscape to play in and seems in a nice shape. I am just baffled as Caracals in international trade are very expensive and their house seems nothing very special looking, the rest of the grounds a bit like a trash trade centrum rather than the park of a crazy billionaire, just old stuff littered all over the backyard. I hope it's not someone trying to get rich as hybrid breeders but just an enthusiast for big cats, elder funtiture and hardware.
Anyway, it seems it is legal here to keep a wild cat from an other country whilst it is not in many other German states, same mess as you know from the USA.
