The scene has a certain serenity to it...

As long there is no loud car or motorbike out on the road in the background it is rather serene indeed. The trail from the parking for the loop along protected bog remnant and former peat plant bends to the left right here and goes straight away from the road into the Bannwald, this means a wild forest sans comercial use. Paralel to the road roughly an interpretive trail goes off amogst pastures bordering the bog where all the farmer keep different yearround outdoor cattle breeds. Heck, Belted Galloway, Black Galloway, Limousin or Charolais, anyway something french... its nice all few years to see whats there and what birds are atracted by them crapping, but we usually prefer the forest and the bog. Smells better and is at least during weekdays a bit silent. :o)
