These firebugs appear to be doing what comes naturally...

These firebugs remind me of these crazy genetically altered bugs that were bred to eat mosquito larvae. They are called "Lovebugs", they do not eat mosquito larvae, they have no natural predators, they escaped from a Lab at the University of Florida approximately 20 years ago...and have exploded population-wise. They conjoin like this and destroy auto paint when they splatter on the surface of the car as it travels down the road..grrr
