Wetlands of Unterreitnau / Unterreitnauer Moos
Almost as pretty as Eriskirch in season, but by far fewer people go to see those straw meadows. The footpath is along a very busy big road, smelly and loud. There is a tale that long ago ther was an inn down there and they had always big party with booze and dance, also during high church services. As the bell of Saint Urbanus did toll for eucharist the ground opened up, the cursed pub vanished and now there is just that big wet meadow.... it is anyway much better than a crowded disco full of drunk louts that can't be made better with some droplets Off. / Es ist fast so schoen wie Eriskirch in der Saison, allerdings gibt es kaum Besucher fuer die schoenen Streuwiesen. Der Fussweg fuehrt an der Bundesstrasse entlang, da ist es extrem laut und die staubige stinkende Luft suboptimal. Es gibt eine Sage das hier mal ein Gasthof stand wo steets die wilde Party abging, auch waehrend grosser Kirchenfeste. Eines Tages als die Glocke von Sankt Urban Leutete als es in der Kirche zur Wandlung kam versank das gesammte Wirtshaus im Boden und das Grundstuech verwandelte sich in eine in den Augen der Menschen frueher wertlose Feuchtwiese... also ich mag Feuchtwiesen sehr viel lieber als Disco. Gegen laute Tanzmusik und Besoffene hilft Autan einfach nicht. :o) |
