Sure, until some bicyclistes come by, giving you an earfull with the bell, calling you names for being in the way and shaving your bum with the mudguard....

Nah, seriously, on great weather weekends it is really a bit difficult for birder on the gravel main route through the Eriskirch wetland Langenargen-Friedrichshafen along the lake to stop and look anywhere. Of course in Februrary when it is still rather cold there are less people to watch out for but in May during the Sibirian Iris bloom and in the summer holidays when vacationers of different interest and speed are numerous this place is not very tranquil at all and can get downright dangerous.
