Picture the Change

As a member of this project, you can submit up to 30 images a month. To do so, click on the "Add Photos" button that appears in the upper right of these pages and then follow the simple instructions.

A few suggestions:

- add "tags" to your images that describe their content. As the collection of images on this site grows, these tags will help others find the specific pictures they are looking for;

- use the space available to describe your images or the stories they tell. Give us context for the image. Let us know what you think about it. Ask questions to generate conversation.

- if you're using a high resolution digital camera, shrink your images down to 1000 pixels on the longest side. This will make for faster upload times and save space. And for the web, 1000 pixels is plenty. If you don't know how to resize your images, download irfanview (www.irfanview.com) or any of the many other free photo editing programs available online. They all make it easy to save your images in different sizes.
