They are wild in the sense that it is a natural place of occurence, but it is also a sort of temporary botanical garden. Each year in may the area gets manned by the nature organisation, paths and marker are placed and donations taken at the entance. It is the best accessible big protected slipper habitat in all of europe, and of course well visited even on regular weekdays.
