Not quite a Sunflower? / Igendwie nicht ganz eine Sonnenblume?

Strange little things in a pot, head size like Salem Artichoke but growing very low / Unbekannte Topfpflanze, Bluten sind etwa so gross wie beim Topinambur, aber nahe beim Erdboden

Well, fuzzy stem & leaves, daisy-like flowers.... Sunflower family ;) BUT, there are so many hybrids out there, not to mention wildflowers that look similar, it would take a lot more detailed photos to positively ID it. Jerusalem Artichoke, I don't think it is -- the leaves don't match in form or size.

I think we'll just have to enjoy it for what it is : eye candy ;)

Yes, they are likely some sort of "miniature sunflower" -- or something entirely different. Renate had "miniature sunflowers" before that turned out to be a Senecio or Calendula cultivar breed to look the part in blossom, but none got those'laurelshaped thick hairless leaves with a hairy steem ...
