▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ 1501 Broadway, Times Square, Manhattan, NYC, NY. Full spectrum color, high definition photo, bracketed photo… ✎ The 33-story New York City Landmark (1988) was built in 1926-27 to house the headquarters for Paramount Pictures, one of the major American motion picture companies in the 1920s. Today, the Paramount Building serves as an office building and is known for its large four-faced clock near the top of the pyramidal architectural feature, with the hours denoted by five-pointed stars (forming a circle of stars as used in the Paramount Pictures logo), topped by an ornamental glass globe. The clock & globe were restored in 1996. |
