You can walk out on that roof balcony if you are skilled enough to squeze up all way though the tower's bell hole. A beautiful and interesting place, but I always end up with a bumped head or bruised ellbow when visiting.... ;o)

Yes, view is very nice up there, without obstructions into most directions at once, altough many other easier to access overlooks around the platteau have all very nice views too.

Of course, the balcony is very comfy and has space for a couple of tourists, but first one needs to get there. I guess the staircase concept dates from a time when folks where generally short, thin and nimble... ;o)
