I stopped over in the border area a few times on way to other holiday destinations, first time as a young girl on the way to and from school ski camp in Campo Tures, then later with my husband now quite a few times. I have visited several different places between Kajetan Bridge and Burgeis for a little break of one or two hours but never took a walk in the center of Nauders so far. Alt Finstermuenz was most cool, although it was undergoing renovations and full of scaffolding and material heaps when we went down there years ago, I'd rather go there a second time now that it is ready...
