I guess the critter is rather a juvenile than past it's prime, or it was a matter of the temperature -- anyway it had not it's usual bright colouation. So it looks a bit weird.

Nicely composed shot! Nothing wrong with the Damselfly -- it's simply an immature female which aren't as ornately colored as adult females or males ;)
