What is it with people from southern countries and perfume??
I get headaches!

why should this be a joke? I am highly allergic to some components of perfume, and when people tend to use about half a bottle per day I won't be able to work in contact with them since I am in for a first class asthma attack and skin rashes, swelling of my respiratory tract...

Oh, sorry, I misunderstood it... can I suggest a more political approach? something like

"For personal health reasons most combinations of perfumes and heads are not allowed in this office. If you come with the wrong perfume we'll remove your head ;-) Thanks."

It's just I'm sure most people don't know that a problem like yours exists... of course, feel free to remove my messages if you want.

Again, I apologize for my ignorance.

Well, it is not my poster, but I know a little about the situation and it seems to be a communication / language problem, anyway... which is why this will probably not help either, but I like your polite approach :-))

I took the text from another sign an modified is slightly (put after shave in)
But as I know not for sure that I am allergic, I am sensitive to other peoples allergies. We have a few around here that react to every little sent.

As for me: My nose is clogging up and I feel as I am getting a cold. I sneeze than a lot and my ears getting stuffed. And no I am not sick. ;-)

Aha, forgot the headaches.

Unfortunately, I am the one who can deal with those things, as my supervisor has his own office.

And btw a lot of public places use those signs now. The one that I found, was from a medical clinic. We have them at my university around public places: library, undergrad office, registrars office and o lot more.
