Saint Coloman / Sankt Koloman

A short stop on the way back to Alterschrofen. It was almost dark and to my surprise this one did not get spotlighted ot at least illuminated from inside / Ein kurzer halt auf dem Weg zurueck nach Alterschrofen. Es war fast finster und zu meinem erstaunen war diese Kirche gar nicht angestrahlt oder beleuchtet.

Too bad for the poor lighting obscuring the beautiful details of this church.... Nice tones, though =)

There are millions of shots by other people of it all over the internet. Koloman on a pitchblack winter evening long after 5 p.m. is at least somewhat unommon.
Asides, all details are there, the onion helmet, the benches, the strange |i|i|i|i|design of the window and buttress work, the benches inbetween and the gate of the old graveyard from the plague with the big trees by the wall.
