I daubt this swan had a notion to get photographed, or it would have either posed and flirted or gone away. We got really enough swans that are tame and curious, and then on top a few that live away from humans and are skittish. The thing that interested me about this one most was that it was an unusual environment and angle for swan pics, and a nice focussing aid in the browns and greens or the bog drain's bend, so that camouflaged geese became visible at all.
