It'd be good to see this put forward to the 'fix my pic' photogroup to see how folk tinker with tone or may be even cropping...as a contrast to 'brownie-ness'

No sooner said than done... Now in Fix My Pic

I have no particular requirements for what is done to this, I was putting a roll of film through the camera just to check it worked and to see what came out, so do whatever takes your fancy.

I would have loved to fix the angles, but this would have meant to cut off most of the roof on the right hand...

Thank you everyone for looking at this.

You've all made good improvements and I find it interesting that nobody has felt it necessary to remove the dust and hairs or do anything to reduce the grain.

Kevin: actually I did remove one bright spot in the center but the dust and grain don't disturb the image, they have a retro flavor to it which adds to the atmosphere (and work well in b&w). removing the grain would also be a major hassle with a pic of that resolution, it might work with a high.res scanned tiff :-)
