After another few minutes, I realised that it was the hunger cry and that I was going to have to breastfeed on the train. I had a fleeting moment of panic and then it occurred to me that it was a bit crazy if I was afraid to feed after all, what is the point in breastfeeding, if I can't whip my knockers out and feed anywhere? I got her out of her baby carrier, put the blanket over my shoulder and started feeding and noted that the guy two seats down from me was craning his head to get a peek! He got up to get off the train and when he got to the door, I saw him try one last time and I gave him the 'Shrivel his nuts to the size of a walnut' glare. |
