Space Discovery Magazine
This magazine cover makes use of many Photoshop techniques. The image started as a titled picture of an astronaut's helmet. I rotated the photo and used a series of clone and pattern stamp tools to gill in the edges and corners the helmet was cut off at for a smoother transition. I also added the gauges and tachs on the helmet and reversed them as well as lowering the opacity to give it the look as if it was on the inside of the glass. I chose space and futuristic fonts as well as a series of effects to give them a glow that would tie in with the luminosity of the entire image. |
