river rubbish

A massive amount of rain has fallen in the last few days. I awoke yesterday to the wailing of flood warning klaxons. Road and rail travel disrupted. Found time to take some photos the day after. Most of the drama has subsided, but this plastic detritus hangs from the trees along the river showing how high the water got. Ugly, unwanted, but significant.
