So many questions ... is this like the bricked-up windows in your part of the world?

I'm not sure if this was bricked up or if it's a decorative feature. The building was unused/derelict though

The in-fill brick looks almost the same (but not quite) as the regular brick.

Maybe just a trick of the light.
