Zhangjiajie / 张家界
Zhangjiajie is a city in the northwestern part of Hunan province. The Zhangjiajie Scenic Area (also known as Wulingyuan) is famous for its more than 3,000 quartzite sandstone pillars, a surreal landscape which can be found nowhere else in the world. The National Park is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The amazing scenery is well worth a visit. If you like nature, you'll love Zhangjiajie.
