Ford is constantly coming up with technological advances that make their vehicles better. These tech updates can range anywhere from the aesthetics of the interior to the mechanics that make the vehicle run more efficiently.
Ford is now implementing personalized ambient lighting in their newer models. Drivers can pick and choose the color they want displayed on the dashboard and consoles. Ford has also made their vehicles hands-free with their syncing technology. A driver’s smartphone can be programmed into the car so that it syncs to the system. The driver can then have text messages read aloud and can use voice commands to play music or to ask for directions. Different safety technologies have also been added into the Ford design. An adaptive cruise control will sense a potential collision and will flash a warning to the driver. This will slow the driver down, preventing an accident. Ford vehicles can also have BLIS, which stands for Blind Spot Information System. BLIS uses radar to alert the driver if another vehicle is in the blind spot. Technology has added extra convenience for Ford drivers everywhere. An active motion seat uses a rolling-pattern massage to reduce tension in the driver’s legs and lower back. A hands-free lift gate allows car owners to simply kick a foot under the bumper to automatically open the lift gate while juggling groceries or sporting equipment. Active park assist is also available to help drivers parallel park on a crowded street. http://bloomingtonford.com/blog/814/Bloomington-Ford-Blog |
