LEGO Duplo train. Anyone know how to get it to run? (the kid somehow got it to run for some seconds, but the buttons on the train only starts playing sounds - no engine power. ). Batteries/Loose connections/Hopeless parents?

just push it doesn't work. and the apperent button only plays music - will try with whole new fresh batteries today. (have also posted a query in the many lego geek communities).

ok, the big spoiler. bit only needed totally new batteries and it worked flawlessly...

I really like the way you have "pimped" that train!

And just so you know, batteries are beyond "technological wizards" - in my view you'r still a pretty good magician.
