Copenhagen's very own childrens traffic playground - amazing what you can find in a city you've lived in for 10+ years

in "fælledparken" - even features real traffic lights

(taking out the only real killer app legoland ever had - the traffic school)

Damn, I've missed that too. How cool! I loved that kind of "playground" when I was little :)

I'll have to go see it. Just discussed stuff like this with the Municipality of Copenhagen and Danish Cyclists Association. Do you think parents will pay to learn how to teach their kids proper traffic behaviour one day? Like they pay to learn how to have their dog sit, roll over etc.?

why pay for something that's currently party of the public education in school, etc.?

it seemed like the traffic school in fælledparken even had staff on weekdays...

Nice! The thought was suggested to me recently from a traffic researcher from University of Copenhagen because she thought there was not enough of these initiatives....

i guess there's the "childrens traffic club" which even has access to the public citizen registry to send offers to kids at age 2 or 3 - and that costs quite a bit all though it's nonprofit.

(though we were bad parents and didn't signup since we're living in the city and letting the kids free in the city has an outlook of many years).
