LOVE IT. Been going on since the 90's. Shame infrastructure doesnt accomodate it.

yeah, interesting. but i'm hearing the energy required to create the hydrogen and cool it down makes it some what the same as a normal car. (yeah, the hydrogen could be created from clean energy sources like wind/solar).

you two engineers - a professional opinion?

I think hydrogen is a good carrier, but like you said it's not an energy source.

The same goes for bioethanol etc. People often forget that. It's like solar power on your backpack or other items - the time and money (energy) spent making the product will more than outweigh the energy you save using it.

yeah, it's gonna take many years before we get to look at this from a "whole" point of view - especially with the current "green hype"...

Real clean energy is wind, wave, solar, geothermal. Not so sure about anaerobic decomposition, biofuel etc. I think many need to consider this rather than focus on buzzwords like "renewable energy".
