Is it really that much narrower (the cigar model)? We just bought one and I believe it's quite wide on the part of the box close to the steering...

yeah, the photo was shot on a nihola. this specific female christiania driver even managed to smoke while driving...

it's *somewhat* narrower than the christiania bike but you can easily ride it on two wheels thereby putting the left front wheel outside the curb and then overtake the slow women drivers/smokers ;-)

rather popular. copenhagen is the "major" city in the world with the highest bike usage - and a lot of families use the family bikes like nihola, christiania, etc.

Yeah. Like Thomas says, alot of urban-families use theese bikes. And yes urban-families sounds silly :-D
