025. Drops.

It kills me that in a sport costing thousands, the most important piece of equipment is this string, which costs pennies.

I was surprised to find that you really do "fly by the seat of your pants" but when you're turning (which is a lot in a sailplane) the piece of string is the most feedback you have (except for maybe the beeping).
