I like the bw version for its graphic qualities, but, the soft color of the color version suits the scenery very well !!
@Martina: I also have difficulties choosing between the two. I think I have a slight preference for this one. But my girlfriend, who actually took the picture, prefers the colour version - for the same reasons you mention.
I like this one better, more tonal range seems possible in B&W,
but all that great mist on the right side seems to have been lost.
Tell your GF that it's colour versus composition, pick one.
