After a long winter, spring is coming to the mountains.

Processed from RAW file with dcraw and ImageMagick.

Nice and soft colours, e.g. the pink touch of the mountain tops. Cloudless sky, mirror like lake: the picture breathes tranquility.

Interesting that you used ImageMagick. What did you use it for, post-processing?

I used the "convert" utility from the ImageMagick suite to convert the output of dcraw to jpeg. The actual command used is:

for i in *.orf; do dcraw -f -h -H 2 -o 1 -c -w $i | convert - -unsharp 1.5×1.0+1.5+0.02 processed/small/`basename $i .orf`.jpg; done

This results in all the RAW .orf files in the current directory being converted to half-sized jpegs under the "processed/small/" directory that are usually about the right size for emailing, or uploading to 23hq. It also allows me to quickly see what images might warrant further processing as keepers.
